Still praying Do you have any plans to go out there to be with him?

I start every time I think about this situation, but I know he is in God's hands and the best thing we can do for him now is pray. He's been in the military 18 years and we've lived with fears during his times of service in wars many, many times over the years. He was due to leave for the war again in a couple/months. I know its a little simple of me to think this way, but I wonder if this is our Father's way of keeping him from something much worse. In any event, our son is saved, loves the Lord and I know that whatever happens, he'll be fine. My husband and I love to take automobile trips and travel from time to time, but neither of us has ever had a desire to travel to Europe. HOWEVER, if our son needs us, we'll go.

I just LOVE all you guys and appreciate your prayers SO MUCH.

I'm sure it's VERY hard for you to just be sitting here and waiting to hear something. Praying God gives you peace.

I'll pray today when I do my devotions Valentine. Very scary to have that over your heads.
But modern technology is so advanced, they can do SO many awesome things these days. And God can do anything.

Just thinking this morning . . . this son who has been a pilot in the military for all these years graduated from college with a degree in . . . . [ready for this folks??] . . . ACCOUNTING. Who on earth would have EVER thought he'd become a military pilot?????? An accountant????? My how things turn out ways you'd never think of.

Weisbaden (spelling may be off). He IS and HAS BEEN the child of everyone's dreams. I cannot tell you what a wonderful blessing he's been to his dad and to me. He cooks and shares recipes with good ole mom, yet he's a man's man too and hunts, fishes, skis, canoes and shares wonderful things with his dad. He never forgets a birthday or special occasion and on mother's day I always get beautiful flowers no matter where he is. We've been blessed with four great kids and although we sometimes get challenged by a couple of them, God has blessed us abundantly.
