• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Sure--you can take blessings out of the bank here at the forum, if you have an account.
Yep, I just learned about the Bank here 2 wks ago & stuck some in there - you at least gain 1% interest.
not alot, but it's better than 0.

They buy reps by bidding in rep auctions - lol (who has THAT kind of $$$)

I do - but can I buy more repability?

I don't want to buy reputation (doesn't seem right to me no matter how much I like seeing my stars increase) but if I can get more reps to give out - that would be terrific.

Can't buy more reps to give out. That would be a neat idea to be able to trade blessings in for more repability....

a few years of being a SS, & posting, you end up with a small collection of blessings :)

After a while, they just start to collect dust :D

No more yet. He always calls on Sundays and he'll call us again Monday after his visit with the surgeons. I truly appreciate your thoughts and prayers. :prayer:

Still praying for your son.

Today we had my daughter's birthday party. Rented a room at the local half-price theatre and had a roomful of kids in to watch a movie. Only about half the kids that we invited showed up (with no RSVP :sigh: ), I don't know whether to be upset or relieved. ^_^

relieved:p

what movie did you see?

I took my grandboys to see The Spiderwick Chronicles last weekend - my youngest grandson said it was "weally scawy" so we left.

I need a good "makeup" movie to take them to.

I can't think of any movies at the moment to help you out. :sigh: I wondered if that movie would be too much for some kids. How old are they? Our daughter is 10.
