Ever since Taylor Hicks won American Idol, I've gone "au naturale" salt and pepper,
but I was thinking of changing my color to light brown. I use Nice N Easy.

When I started turning grey (my hair is dark brown) I went blonde and never went back. It is high maintenance (a trip to get the "regrowth" colored once a month), but my husband and I like it.

LOL I totally agree. That's actually my first auction I've bid on. I've had two auctions of my own but I've never actually bid on one. I only wanted to help her get some good blessings for her reps.

Those auctions remind me of going to a casino for the first time in my life (I was about 55 years old at the time). I lost $60 in 15 minutes playing $0.25 slot machines and got angry (with myself for being so stupid) and walked out. Finally two months later we were leaving NM, so I had one day left to get my money back and I sat out in the parking lot PRAYING (God was probably laughing at me), went inside, won my $60 back plus $60 more. I've never been in another casino and promised myself I never would again.

I kept telling my husband I felt WRONG about even going there, but we went for dinner and of course to get dinner you have to walk through rows and rows and rows of machines. It was SO TEMPTING!! My husband laughs about it to this day because I got so angry. I learned my lesson -- no gambling for me.

I quit coloring a couple of years ago - mostly because I get tired of maintaining it - over 50% gray around the face, not so much in back (strange how that happens sometimes)

That said - my husband came home from the place where we get our hair cut the other day - handed me Connie's (our stylist/barber for ~30 years) card with a note on it - 10% off coloring in March. Do you suppose he's trying to tell me something?

Heck - I'm 52, I'm supposed to have gray hair. And I've earned them - I consider them a trophy
