There are crazy drivers here in Texas, too. Or maybe just rude. When you signal a lane change, they think that means, quick, move up and take the space, and then the car behind them does that as well so that you can never change lanes...So you learn after a while to signal and change lanes both the same instant.

My husband is from VT so he's used to driving like that. Scares me when we drive in places that you have to do that in. You don't want to know how I get when we are in situations like that.

Yes, roadrage here in Texas HAS gotten deadly...What's really funny, though, is when I help them get into a lane, or even hold back to let them enter the traffic flow. They almost freak out. Friday three cars were in the wrong lane due to construction. I waved them ahead of me--and they just about ran over each other. They were all stuck and I was helping them--but they wouldn't even help each other. LOL.

I get so mad when I'm on the interstate and those cars coming onto the interstate don't speed up. They almost come to a stop which is dangerous. You try to slow up to allow them in if you can't move over but they still don't speed up and get in there. I practically lose my religion at times. Sorry just being honest.

I'm gathering there's bad drivers everywhere. We've gotten to be so fast paced that we've lost any sense of wisdom. IMHO

I agree. But there are still regional differences which I find interesting.

In Pennsylvania, for example, there was a driver who got right behind me and forced me to speed up. I didn't realize what was happening--I was driving a rental--until I looked down and saw I was doing 80--and that guy was still about a yard behind me. So I got perturbed and slowed down to 48 before he finally left me alone...And then another driver came along and tried to do the same thing....

Here in Texas, on the other hand, it seems anyone driving a red pickup never slows down, not for snow, ice or stop lights...

Seems like its been slow the past couple of days

That's ok - more reps for us

it is a shame we don't live close to one another....can you imagine the fun and probably trouble we would get into on a women's retreat weekend..

They'd throw us out of where ever we were - we'd be way to rowdy

now see - in my neighborhood folks don't know what 4 way stops are (actually a lot of them don't know what a stop sign is period). There seems to be this mindset that if you're close enough to the car in front of you that you can just go through the stop sign with them.

I've seen that happen a lot here too. They do that with Red lights a lot. It's the "I'm with them" driving.

Too familiar...they do that here is Texas, too.
