CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

um... maybe I'm just being stupid here - but if I saw that as my cake topper, I'd RUN before we got to the part of eating it.
Maybe that's where the topper idea came from. Someone tried to run from the wedding and got dragged back in.
ETA: It's a funny topper but I wouldn't want it on my wedding cake.

because I'm concerned for my fellow repaholics and given the number of posts I've seen regarding members feeling under the weather I want to take this opportunity to remind everyone that we are to share prayers and fellowship with each other - but not germs.
With that in mind, be sure you wash your hands before logging onto CF. If you have to cough or sneeze, turn your head away from the computer screen. When reading the threads about folks being ill - hold your breath as long as possible to avoid breathing in whatever it is they have.
These few simple precautions will go a long way in protecting not only your health, but the health of your co-repaholics. (after all, if we're unable to post due to illness - we won't be able to rep each other)

Welp... I didn't hear the timer go off on the oven and his Valentines cake is just a little burnt around the edges.
(I thought I smelled cake...)

Scrape off the burnt edges and cover with frosting.
HEY, great idea!!
I let it cool off for a little bit, then gently laid tinfoil over the top (didn't want it cooking more while trying to cool on the rack) -the tin foil made it moist with the heat still in it.
So far that helped! lol

Still fixable, scrape off the burnt parts and cover with lots of frosting and sprinkles.
