  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

As many of you know I host a fellowship thread each Sunday with an incentive for newbies to be invute and come fellowship with us in BE. This area seems to be growing into its own wonderful litlle community of friends.

So I thought I would start this thread to introduce you to the new people that come to BE for that fellowship or another thread that I point new people to during my angel duties.

I will post their names here in this thread. You can rep them and give them some info on the reps area to show them what a great experience it is to participate here and help grow this area even further.

Nadine correctly pointed out that these new poeple often need blessings as well, so as Bigweld would say "see a need, fill a need"

welp, most of what I did in the blessings area usually involved Rep stuff before they allowed straight {shameless} repping threads - this incorporates fellowship with it in one large area, so this is like frosting on the cake for me. lol
Plus some of my friends hang here, so it's a wonderful little home - niche as you say. Yes. :angel:

I only wish when I was brand new that they had rep crews coming by to welcome us. Boy, it took it MONTHS just to get a few thousand rep points - and that was hard work! lol

I'd also make a note here that I remember when I was a newbie I really needed blessings so I could add stuff to my profile but it cost too much $$.
Sometimes that's more helpful than reps? Just a suggestion to anyone wanting to help out =)
