the songs are amazing also.....its sort of like an operetta i think....not sure though, but its two cds so.....

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

it has diolouge, just not a lot. most of the story is told in song. Once on this Island is also an operetta, tho i dont know if youve heard of it. i was in it. its good. go check it out. now.

it is great, and you dont have to go to ny to see it anymore, cos its been on broadway long enough that theres a touring company also now, so you can see it when it comes to where you live, which is really nice

I saw the non-Equity Tour April 24. It was absolutely amazing.
On top of it I had front row, center section, orchestra level seating!
I stage doored afterwards and got some autographs, too.

so I was youtubing yesterday when I came across this video from American idol gives back of the finalists singing seasons of love, my exact reaction was
all my friends/family know im in love with Rent and still no one managed to tell me about this!
its not too great, but its nice to see Rent getting some long deserved recognition
