  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If this isn't the weirdest movie, then I don't know what is. The previews blind you of what its really about it. There was a lot of girl-on-girl action and gay-on-drag (guy) action, drugs, sex, AIDS, must the list go on? And in spite of all of this, I LOVED THE MOVIE! It was hilarious and just out there. I don't know how many times I gasped and my eyes just popped out because some of the stuff.........I was just like wow. The songs are great (a bit racy at times) but I really liked the movie alot and plan to see it again soon..........What do you guys think? I have you gone to see it yet? What do you think?

I'm on the fence. The music sounds good, and it's one of the biggest shows in Broadway history. But at the same time, it glorifies a lifestyle that is totally foreign to my way of living. I'll probably wind up seeing it (the movie) when it comes to the dollar theaters.

lol umm, well im confused if thats intolerance or good sence? anyways it was an awesome movie.
I'd say intolerance.

It's one of the best movies I've seen in a LONG time. The music is amazing, the story is so sad but hopeful and moving.

And note that I have "Another Day" in my sig. I think it teaches an important lesson..

There Is No Future
There Is No Past
I Live This Moment
As My Last

There's Only Us
There's Only This
Forget Regret
Or Life Is Yours To Miss
No Other Road
No Other Way
No Day But Today

I Can't Control
My Destiny
I Trust My Soul
My Only Goal
Is Just - To Be

There's Only Now
There's Only Here
Give In To Love
Or Live In Fear
No Other Path
No Other Way
No Day But Today

It's not intolerance, it's just an inability to relate. I have nothing in common with homeless drug addicts in New York. Sorry.

Hmm... There is one character with a drug addiction, one who is a recovering addict... homeless....uh-uh... Two characters live in a building which a former room-mate now owns and has decided he wants rent for after initially telling them they could have the place rent free....(and an additional character lives downstairs in the same building) the landlord (Benny) obviously isn't homeless.. he's living with his wife in the luxury apartment building mentioned in a couple songs) Actually I don't think any of the main characters are homeless... Collins... kind of floats... but Angel obviously has a place since he invites Tom there....

I can get not relating.. but I see lots of movies that don't reflect my life at all and don't feel the need to walk out.... I can't really relate to Johnny Cash but Walk the Line was a good movie.. I'm pretty sure I won't be flying around in any space ships but I stayed for Serenity....
