Remember playing Cigarette tag...and buying gum that looked like cigarettes that if you blew on them it would blow out a puff of what looked like white smoke, but was really just gum powder?

yes I do . . . and I still play hour upon hourplaying with them with my grandson . . . LOL . . . he just loves it when Granny Lu gets on the floor with him to build . . .LOL

remember when yer whole block would have a big cook-out and all the kids would run n' play till they collapsed cuz the adults would stay up late and wouldn't pay attention to the time, so we all stayed up late, and we'd get another popsicle and it would drip all ovr us as we sat on the steps, lookin up at the sky, countin' the stars, and knowin' somewhere deep inside there is a God?
and then one o' yer friends would say "hey mom, can Brenda stay over tonight?"

I remember paper dolls..

I had the Lennon Sisters.. they were singers on the Lawrence Welk Show..

Diane, Peggy, Kathy & Janet.. ( I think)

I was so fussy with my 'dolls'.. I had to cut them out myself.. cause my friend was NOT very careful when she cut.. she would cut off some of the tabs that held the clothes on the dolls..

I remember sitting in my grandma's parlor while the adults sat in the kitchen talking..
