Remember blessing points?

They used to be given out so liberally that you really couldn't run out. People gave them away to each other, too.

Whatever happened to that? I see a lot of people who have very puny amounts, like under 100, for very long periods of time?

Where have all the blessings gone? Why don't the mods give them out like they used to?

Twice now I have been given a heap of blessings...I don't have very many now because I have given some away and used the rest to get a profile pic (by the way...its not really me ) and avatar. But, thanks to the anonymous givers I was able to get those items (it would have taken me a lot longer otherwise).

I can't speak for others but the reason I don't have many blessings is my own fault (kind of like why I don't have much money ) - I have been 'blessed' very generously!

Perhaps some of them have put blessings in the bank.

You know I rarely give blessings unless people ask for them or need them to buy things. I keep mine in the bank and build interest with mine so I can give when people ask. I tend to give more reputation points. If it is shown that more people'd rather have blesings, I'll start doling mine out rather than repping people.

I'd say keep repping people for good posts...blessings are not too hard to come by.

I give people reps and keep my blessings in the bank, depositing more every week. I do not have many blessings myself so I tend not to give them away as much. I was blessed however when I was a newbie to be given 1000 blessings. I have had a few people give me blessings since (like 5 here, 10 there) but I still have not very many.

I give blessings and rep for good posts. If I can't give reps. I still give blessings for a real good post.
