• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love you too :kiss::kiss::kiss:

I don't think that G od really cares whether I capitalize his name or not.. It just seems trivial to me. I just type away. Hardly ever fix my mistakes. Why should I. I like my mistakes. By the way, I don't claim to be anything. I'm just a girl trying to survive in this world.

Well, I am glad that you love me so much. I love you too as does Jesus, who suffered and died for us that we may spend eternity in His presence.
I am very sorry you do not claim His salvation, and it is my prayer that you come to know Him as your personal Saviour.

Until then, however, this is a forum dedicated for those who DO claim to know Him as Saviour, and do respect Him and His children.

If you noticed the description of this Forum before you entered, you must know.

Deeper Fellowship
A Christians-only fellowship area for deeper general Christian sharing.

And if you read the threads posted on Deeper Fellowship, you must also know the purpose is gain a closer and deeper fellowship with God and fellow Christians. That is something you cannot gain, if you do not have it in the first place.

The fact that you came in here anyway, indicates you are here by Divine Appointment, and that you have now received what God sent you here to hear. Whether you accept or reject the salvation offered to you is your choice. I pray you will make the right one.

 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

What are some ways we can remain more thankful to God? Please feel free to post any other scriptures or examples of giving thanks found in the Bible. As well as anything that has worked for you in this area.

 I'm so glad you put up this post. Thanksgiving is at the very core of a believer. True thanksgiving is shown whenever one overflows with some expression of joy. The truly thankful heart constantly erupts with thankfulness towards God for all His grace, mercy and goodness in ALL things. For truly, ALL things are for our sakes as Paul says. Thanksgiving amidst fleshly trials is what shows our maturity and growth into Him. For without thanksgiving, are we really His at heart? And how, then, will others who see our good works (the results of our thanksgiving to God and our expression of that love and thanks to Him) praise God if our praise of Him is not evident in our actions?  Note that the first thing Paul does in most of his letters to churches is express his thanks to God for them. Note also that he gives thanks in and through all his trials. For if we truly believe that ALL things work together for good for them that love God and are called according to His purpose, then we can earnestly give thanks to God IN and THROUGH EVERYTHING we do and encounter.

 One expression of thanksgiving is in our tithes. We give, not because we must, but because we recognize that our increase is of God and so we show our thanks by giving back to Him a portion of that -  realizing that thanksgiving sanctifies ALL things (I Timothy 4:4,5)
