our age gap was 15 years; I was 42 when we married. It was not a factor in our divorce after 17 years (as far as I know, and I will expand on that if you wish)
It totally depends on the people involved.
I was the one who initially resisted marriage, in part because of that wide gap. As it happened, because he was quite mature, and I was adventurous & active, it never seemed to matter. I introduced him to things like wonderful older movies, he kept me up to date on good music and the talking never ended.
