aw I felt that way too before, the last time I was rejected was the first and last time I told a guy I liked him, but there IS someone better for you. I thought I would never get over it but I did. And now Im so happy I wasn't with that guy

I hope you're right, time will tell on that one. She's a solid Christian, intelligent, and refined. Someone better than her, I'd love to meet.

I went down to San Antonio about a month ago for a friend's birthday, and he does not really handle rejection very well at all. We found out that he's incredibly mopey drunk, and one (of three) rants he went on was about how he wasn't going to ask any of the girls at this dance hall we were at to dance because he knew they would say no. His cousins and I were trying to convince them that the point isn't that they will say no, but someone will say yes. He wasn't having it, but anyway...

If this guy is anything like me, he might have massive problems with pride and bitterness that he is hiding.. This is what has lead me to avoid rejection with women most of my life and lead to a life of ignoring women / using porn / hookers / getting involved with aggressive clingy women / sending passive mixed messages to women I do find attractive / tempted to get involved in the homosexual lifestyle etc. Avoiding rejection leads to a life of sexual immorality in some cases.
