They were just talking weather on the radio. Christmas Day it is expected that our temps will be mid to high 30's (95 - 100'F). The guy at the weather bureau predicts that there will be alot on hot air on Christmas Day - atmospheric or verbal?

I need to go to the library today. They run a school holiday reading program, and draw daily prizes. Yesterday they rang to say that Brynn ( my baby) has won a prize

However, none of my contemporaries' parents took them swimming, cycling, running, walking up mountains, and on cultural trips to continental europe. Thinking back, I was the luckiest kid in school. At the time though, I wanted to be like one of the 'spoilt brad kids' as my mum called them

Wow!! The tickets have gone on sale for the soccer games that Australia is playing in in next years world cup. Apparently, in a move to try to outwit the scalpers, you have to put in your passprt number when you purchase your tickt and it will be printed on the ticket, and you must present your passport to gain entry into the game!

I didn't mean to make any hidden accusations against people who had barbies and other toys, I was just sayig that my parents preferred us to do outdoor things, and cultural things, and wouldn't let us have fashionable plastic toys.
