Hi Pubbies

Well a very important day here in the UK and for many other countries around the world who recognise the Queen as head of state

HRH Prince William, who is second in line to the throne, marries his fiancee kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey this morning

Tens of thousands of people exopected to line the route and congregate both outside the Abbey and outside Buckingham Palace.

Plus an expected worldwide tv audience of 2 Billion people.

Thats one third of the entire population of this planet who will watch it.

However, they have made today a public holiday so at least I get extra pay for it

But the media coverage over this wedding here in the states have been ridiculous!! We've got natural disasters tearing up our country and the stations or channels rather talk about the wedding...*humphf*

I do wish the best to the Prince and his new wife, may they have many happy years together!

I heard on the radio yesterday that there were 8000 reporters in London covering the wedding yesterday, and that 4000 of them were American

Little sis was very cute actually but there you are. lol. I had to chuckle when they showed on the news later the st party in favour of getting rid of the monarchy. lol when asked what they'd do with the palace they said well keep it as a museum and tourist attraction. lol so, let me get this right, they dont want the monarchy but they still want the heritage that goes with it? lol
