Certainly from what we saw on the News etc , yesterday seems to have been very nasty for you Dubliners. I have lovely memories of Dublin being a warm, welcoming city with very friendly citizens from my visits there.

Sadly , I think it's going to be some time till you all recover -- things like this tend to haunt you for some considerable time

We got a big delivery of smokeless coal, logs and kindling yesterday. It cast quite a lot but hopefully it will last us into the new year...
