Well - all is completed There was 1 minor problem which was easily dealt with . Plumber has gone , and I've had the Dyson out and cleaned up the landing carpet after all the work was completed. I now have no carpet in my bathroom but the floor is clear of bits of debris , dust etc . I will have to leave it for a couple of weeks for the floor to dry [ I'd had a wee leak ] and will then need to get some new floor covering.

Now I can start getting organised ready to head to Church for tonight's Service

And another very chilly morning - I'm sorry for folk who have to keep their cars in the street - they would take some scraping to remove the frost this morning !

This cold snap is due to last for a few more days and we will probably get some white precipitate over the next couple of days

The gritter has been past my house this evening Fortunately I don't have to go out tomorrow

We have a light covering of snow - it's not heavy and according to the forecast [ at present] will be gone by the morning

At present we have some sun but there's still snow evident in exposed places round me .
I'm hoping I'll be able to get to Church this weekend but I'll make my decisions shortly before I'm due to leave the house. We are only due to get snow for short periods , and it should be quite light here , but other areas have it forecast for between 10 and 40 cms depth of snowfall !!

Another bitterly cold day with evidence of the snow from earlier still hanging on Cars parked in the open have a very heavy covering of frost

We had a nice Liturgy this morning - weather better than expected but according to the forecast we are due heavy rain later this afternoon

I gave myself a treat of a vegan pizza for my tea - and also had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc That really WAS nice - I was indeed in need of a ' wee lifting of the spirits '
