It will take her a wee while to settle in , but I expect there are some going up from her old school so that will make it a bit easier for her.

So far it's mainly sunny here and the promised/threatened showers have been moved to late afternoon - be interesting to see what does happen

In the office for the next 3 days which I'm not overly happy about. But beggars can't be choosers.

Weather is mild and misty...

Well we had a storm come through about 4:30 am. I know a tree fell and hit part of the fence. Waiting to survey everything when it gets light out. Will most likely be contacting the insurance company.

We did have some rain earlier [ and it WAS rain lasting for a relatively short time ] but it's been dry since. Definitely cooler

Since the washing machine is working nicely I think I'll have my morning coffee

Rain due to start any time now - it's cool ++ and I'm about to go and get a cardigan to warm me up a bit. Laundry has taken a lot longer to dry today

Well - it's dry once more

That was really just a wee sprinkling not the heavy long-lasting downpour that had been forecast. This is really keeping us on our toes

We had an incredible storm about an hour ago, it was really coming down and the lightning was right over us.

I'm hoping that Tropical Storm Fred either dissipates or misses us completely this weekend.
