Morning all

Well - this afternoon we will learn which tier we will be placed on and as a result what new restrictions will apply from midnight Sunday/Monday - this for me will possibly be tier 4 - the highest and just short of total lockdown.

I'm up having brekkie and will be off for DL soon

I'm off for a few days. The weather is pretty disappointing but not surprising.

Were supposed to be a level 5 but you'd never say it by how busy everywhere is...

I'm still in Tier 3 BUT I'll get details later - I ~may~ not be able to go to Liturgy - that is not in my Council Area

Just had the rest of the HUGE pot of stew I'd cooked on Tuesday [ had the person in my support bubble then - we both enjoyed it then ] and it was even better tonight - it was really really tasty that's 1600grm of stew making 3 servings !!

Sooner things really settle down the better , I do NOT cope well with this isolation. There is a promise that our restrictions will be reviewed on 10 Nov and in our area on more or less a daily basis - we had expected to go to tier 4 - virtually Lockdown

Morning all

Now seen the restrictions - unless for essential purposes I cannot travel outside my Council area - so this will probably mean no going to Liturgy after Sunday. Good job that we have ours on Zoom as well. Our Parish members are , effectively, wide spread and in many Local Council areas - the East Coast , Borders , and Tayside and even Edinburgh and Lothians.

Oh well - we will just have to cope with this and if it does get the numbers down it will be worth it.

We are joining with another Parish tonight on Zoom for a talk by a priest based in England - this should be interesting

I'm afraid you are right re the vaccine

Snag is, that apparently some research has been done into Antibody levels after a bout of Covid-19 - they seem to drop pretty rapidly so it doesn't looks as if the protection from re-infection last long.

Well - that was another 2 hr+ meeting - 30 mins was a talk and the rest a Q&A session - very very interesting

Coming home from Liturgy my wipers were on high speed - a very uncommon thing in the City.

It's most unpleasant outside despite the occasional breaks in the cloud for the sun to shine through. I'm in the house for the day

It's looking increasingly likely that Boris will be putting England into Lockdown - seems that he may be making a press Conference later today

Just announced though 2.5 hours later than expected - England into Lockdown on Thursday - though modified to allow Schools Colleges and Unis to stay open

we are our own nation

remaining as we are - strict restrictions and we can't go out of our Council Area except for essential travel etc. Is Church essential - no-one yet knows
