Well its not as sunny as yesterday was at this time but its quite mild and dry.

Second l ast school run of the week...

Morning all - brekkie over and done , 1.2km walked

Weather is cool and dry today - BUT for the first day of the Virtual Kiltwalk tomorrow it's not looking great. I'm doing a minimum of 3km walking each of the 3 days - if it's wet this is NOT going to be fun. This is our big fundraising event each year - normally it's a centrally organised thing [ like the Glasgow Marathon] but of course this year it can't be

Please pray for decent weather tomorrow for me

We have Daffodil Day over here for cancer research and it was ruined by Covid

Right - after getting the new 'restrictions' in I'm trying to make sense of them.

We can meet in groups of 6 from 2 households !! This applies indoors AND outdoors, in pubs, bars and restaurants . This is going to be great fun - NOT.
Church Services remain limited to 50 [ we are only permitted 16 by our hosts]

Its overcast but dry here. In the middle of the school run. The bus has turned up which is always a good start.

Morning all , and it's a very important Friday morning

It's the start of our Virtual Kiltwalk weekend - normally you would see lots of folk out wearing kilts, tartans or other gear , but of course this year it's all cancelled

The Glasgow Kiltwalk is normally much earlier in the year - but plans weren't ready so we have joined with Edinburgh for the VIRTUAL one.

I'm aiming to walk , doing laps of my garden , to do a minimum of 3 km each day - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Just sitting down to brekkie having finished my first 15 laps - 1.1km !! Weather is not looking great so I wanted to pile in some while I could. This is important to our Community as whatever we raise is going in the Church building fund - we need to get our own place urgently

Managed to get to 3.5km today - beaten the target so I'm happy at that. Rain is off at present thank goodness. However I've seen tomorrow's forecast - and it really looks very nasty wet

Disappointing is too mild - I've not seen him for a year and was really looking forward to this visit . His birthday , mine and another good friend all have our respective birthdays in a 10 day period and he was coming for most of that so we could have a birthday dinner together. Now it can't happen
