I'm doing better than I deserve.

It's the end of a long hot summer.

The wife and I are heading to our nieces wedding this weekend up in Oregon. It's going to be a nice 'churchy' wedding. It's interesting that about 12 years ago I went up there for my MIL's funeral. It was there that I had one of my first introductions to the Catholic Church. This time I've been asked to be an EMHC.

Funny how things change.

Well, we're back and it was a beautiful wedding.

I have to ask, though, did anyone else think my post was pathetic? I got a strange rep from someone I'm familiar with in GT but doesn't participate in this thread or OBOB.

Maybe it was a mistake.
