• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

REILLYS CCC - All are welcome, all are welcome in this place.

AAK it's hot outside today.

The 'feels like" temp is 38.3 C. now. just got back from a trip (unplanned) to the grocery store for hubbie's wants (oh, aren't i a good wife! LOL) and have to go out once more to deliver the rent check, but then it's back inside for the duration, or at least till it cools off outside.

I can't wait until Fall!

I know Anhelyna. I feel a bit like crying myself but decided to make it my new hobby for the week and inject (ha ha what a pun and unintended LOL) a bit of humour into it. Been and bought some new clothes this afternoon to cheer myself up a bit LOL.

as a thought have the vampires tried to get the blood by using the veins on the back (top) of your hand? those are usually shallow veins and much easier to see.

Ha ha MC.
pdudgeon, yes they have tried all over my hands and arms and wrists too. I always did have a problem with my veins even when having chemo. They always had problems getting the cannula in and often took seven attempts and was ALWAYS painful.

They reckon that they manage to find a vein and that then it rolls away from them as they try to catch it LOL

oh yea, i've heard about rolling veins too.
that's why i just always stick my hand out.

I've heard that it also helps to drink lots of water before having blood work done--plumps up the veins.

new words were set to that melody after the Maidan demonstrations

This is just one of the funerals where it was sung

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgKo84kHVfg

we also sang it after Liturgy in Church - and it was sung at many of the vigils held in our cities over here
