CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

it's been a while since i made rissoto in my rice cooker, but i remember how good it is.
Just finishing my lunch; a bowl of Mexican Chicken soup and sliced focccia to dip into the broth.
No football game today--the team is still in pre-season, and the cable ticket i have doesn't "kick in" until the regular season starts.

I LOVE risotto - but making it for one person is not fun - and it's not something you can freeze I do make it properly - with wine and stock added slowly as it gets absorbed at the beginning . The one I had today was really nice - and even better since it was made for me and someone else paid for it

The nice Italian Restaurant not far from Church and it helped fill in time for the VG as his train back to London was at 4

Well the hurling final is next Sunday which will be a full house, Kilkenny v Tipperary.
Then two weeks after that is the football final. Parking will be at a premium for you know who...
