  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I think registry is fun at any time :D

I havent done it this time around-- mostly because I have some boy and girl stuff and we dont know what baby is.

I have a baby shower this weekend and all I asked for was diapers ;) can never go wrong with a LOT of those-- disposable and cloth *cloth naps work SO WELL for burp rags!!!* People have also been asking me what else I need/want and I say whatever they think is fun and looks like I could use it or see what God lays on their hearts.

With my daughter and first son, I walked away with more baby things than I could have EVER imagined-- there's something about shopping for a new somebody that makes people go wild!

As far as registries go-- Wal Mart has in recent years put up one similar to target and you can check them out from any store-- probably the web too.

The only thing about Target that you want to be careful of-- their return policy REALLY stinks-- try to ask for gift receipts for 'just in case' situations (like whatif you actually have a girl when all the ultrasounds said boy DOH!)-- that way you dont know how much they spent on the item unless you take it back.

Have fun registering!!! (Oh, and dont pass up scanning that little baby wipe warmer-- I thought-- "What a waste of money!!" when I first saw it-- then I put a cold wipey on a newborn baby.... the screams are intense!!-- I am SO getting one even if I have to buy it myself!! LOL!)

We registered before Christmas so if our families wanted to get anything for the baby for Christmas they would know what we needed/wanted.

Like someone else said, anytime before your first shower would be fine. It is so much fun to pick out the stuff though, why wait?

We registered at Babies R Us and you can view and update your registery online. And it is also avalible at Toys R Us.
