If you receive a PM that starts out "Happy New Year" or "Hi-I am new here" and the PM includes a link, it is always wise not to click the link. If someone only has 5 posts and is sending PMs inviting you to another web-site, it is most likely spam and hopefully nothing more nefarious, although you can never be sure. This is why it's good not to click the links.
If you receive such a PM, do not click the link and do not respond to the sender. Report the PM and Support will take care of it as soon as possible.
