I noticed that you adhere to "other" in your vote on Do You Adhear to Sola Scriptura? What is your stance on the topic?

The point was that there was a commandment for the sin offering law after giving birth while there was no law condemning anyone in baptism.
Who gave us the scriptures?
The Roman church says they proclaimed which books were actually inspired and placed them in one volume, so we should all be indebted to the Catholic Church for the New Testament. Actually the Catholic Church in 397 the Council of Carthage had the 27 books considered the canon.
However these books were read and distributed as Scripture for over 300 years by individual Christians and church’s long before their church councils claimed to give us the Bible.
This:
2 Thessalonians
15 So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the Traditions that you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by our letter.
You cannot go by Sola Scripture on its own
I'm interested. Got a link?
I think that verse is one I couldn't be comfortable with accepting as the Word of God, if I believed in the idea of Sola Scriptura.
But I think it is the Word of God, and we should follow it.
It is the Word of God and should be followed explicitely in the context that Paul followed it.This:

1 Corinthians 11:1
Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
Anything outside of that is not following Paul or Christ. If you have other references to following Christ outside of scripture please present it. But it won't be accepted as following Christ unless it's Sola Scriptura

Hi Cassia, Good morning. I hear you saying that we should follow Paul as a means of following Christ. Is that right? Wouldn't that mean that following Christ means that we should hold fast to the traditions as they were handed on, whether orally or by letter? (2 Thessalonians 2:15)
You do realize that nobody is attacking you personally. The the topic of the thread in itself is intended to challenge and "refute" any protestant denomination who believes is Sola scriptura. The thread in itself is an attack on protestant beliefs! As a result, you will be darn sure that not only will people defend protestant beliefs in this thread but will rebuttal with counter evidence that will show the flaws of the Catholic Church in order to "refute" their lack of belief is Sola Scriptura. Every "attack" that has been posted that I have seen either directly or indirectly prove or discredit the belief in Sola scriptura. If you are offended by all the "catholic bashing" you ought to walk away from the forum. How dare you and anyone else who decides to post or participate in a thread with the intent of discrediting a christian denomination and then feel "offended" by the "catholic bashing" they get in return!Search through and have a look. I am sure the moderators will.

You think it's ok to claim that and not provide proof. Not good form. Some remarks have been well below the belt in the thread.
Specifically which ones? Some remarks have been well below the belt in the thread.
This is about the closest thing to a "personal attack" antletems is going to get..You think it's ok to claim that and not provide proof. Not good form.
Agape and eros both refer to love, but they're two different kinds of love. English word "worship" is not adequate to describe the kind of worship. We hyperdulia Mary, we latria God.Hyperdulia or Latria both refer to WORSHIP... you say the 'church' doesn't worship Mary yet your encyclopedia says you do... so you defer with another term to show some kind of differentiation. So then, you worship Mary but Worship God, is that it?
