??? Citation for what? At the end of the WW2 entire populations of East Prussia, Pomerania, both Silesias, etc. were ethnically cleansed and sent back beyond the river Oder. Should they(millions of them and their children and grandchildren) register themselves as refugees? Should I register myself as a refugee? After all my family was wiped out off the land they lived on for centuries.

Personally it falls smack bang into the middle of my expectancy and my experience...I have never been taken by surprise at the answers from anti-Israel Islamists...their ideology demands embracing the ridiculous, the illogical, the convoluted...reason is put out to pasture.

Some people are driven by compassion and reason, others embrace the worst excesses of willful ignorance and hatred. Its a matter of choosing which you'd rather be.

There's war and there's war.

The United States of America is a nation built upon nearly endless "wars" with the indigenous peoples. To call these "wars" in any classical sense, however, seems incredibly overly generous. These were near-genocidal missions of extermination, to steal away, capture, and rob people of their land, culture, and identity.

As an American that is part of the history of my nation that I have to take seriously. The existence of reservations is a continued reminder of this bloody, brutal, evil history.

And it's quite difficult of me to see there being much difference between how my country dealt with those we now call Native Americans and the Israeli treatment of the Palestinian people. Segregating and herding them into ghetto-reservations. And then acting indignant when some turn to violence.

You know they don't listen to reason. They make up ad hoc arguments and appeal to principles that have no communion with reality, and which they don't really believe in themselves.

Will the Arabs give Egypt back to -- I don't know, the native Egyptians ?
Should every person with Spanish blood move out of South America back to Spain ?
Every Brazilian with Portuguese blood go back to Portugal ?
Every Egyptian with Arab blood go back to the Hijaz peninsula ?
Every Afro-American or Afro-Caribbean go back to Africa ?
Every Turk go back to the plains, and give Greece back to the Greeks ?

And indeed, the unexplainably pro-Palestinian, anti-Israeli Scandi-navalim should give all their land back to the Sami, and go back to Denmark and Germany from whence they came.

The Japanese would have to give back the land to the Ainu. The white Americans and Oceanians would generally have to go back to Britain. The British would have to go back to France or Germany I guess. Hence the white Americans / Oceanians would have to emigrate en masse to France or Germany.
