  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thanks Knight for the information.

I'm not sure I really fit into this forum. I do believe myself to be Reformed, but I'm afraid my faith is very simple. God has stressed in me the part about coming to Him as a little child, and I take that very seriously. :D

I do understand the need though for some to study things more in depth than I do and I appreciate you guys for all of your study and knowledge. :)

One thing that bothered me about the "always reforming" is that it seems to be about us doing something rather than everything being about God and what He has done, but I will try to view it as God setting us apart for the "always reforming", which may be how it was originally meant. I think that might help me. :)

This statement demonstrates all the more that you have a place in this forum.

I assure you that was what was meant by the term always reforming.
