The writer of a blog that I frequent has put together some plugins for Firefox that allow you to use the search bar for more than Google and other traditional search engines. There is a search for Monergism, Desiring God and others available at the linked site.

I'm firefox illiterate myself. I downloaded them a few days ago and couldn't find where to use them until I went to change the search engine setting. With plugins like this, I may actually stop using IE!
