Seriously, I'd love to see this game remade with a modern engine. While they're at it, give System Shock 2 a good skin job and rerelease it as well.

It was a great novelty game, but I got sick of it too quick. Even with the expansion pack, it couldn't hold me into it. It was funny though.

I'd also like to see Crusader: No Remorse and Crusader: No Regret redone. With multiplayer. There were so many guns designed expressly for cool deaths that not being able to deathmatch with them was a shame indeed.

[FONT=Lucida Sans, sans-serif]Well yeah the Redneck Rampage engine was licensed from the 3D Realms engine called Build Engine. Build Engine was developed for Duke Nukem 3D. I have the source for the Build Engine in a folder on my hard drive since it has been released to the public some years ago. I don't think you can use it to make a commercial game under the public license, but you can make your own hobby game. If you like messing with that than you should consider looking at the irrlicht engine, you can release commercial games with it under its license at no cost. http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/ [/FONT]
