  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

this is specifically spoken word poetry, the repetition may not translate when read but is part of the "theatre" of spoken word

how many
how many
how many more
how many more salt stained cheeks
dried from the drink
of bitter water
stained on the pinked flush
of wilted smiles
how much
how much
how much more
how much more strained sentiment
of disillusioned love
with faith undone
by veiled mendacities
of what wasn’t
too many
too many
too many times
too many times wrapped in silent cries
yielded by retracted
promises given
in haste to secure mastery
of a free soul
too much
too much
too much grief
too much grief for so small a life
taken down below
watched to sink
under bitter hatred of crimson laughter
never plenty being
though success is apparent
it is not
bring on
bring on
bring on the fire
bring on the fire of earth and heaven
watch it burn round
blistering that is and was
watch for it cannot touch what lies
lies in god
lies in gods hands
for it will be redeemed
