A 1st grade teacher announced to her class, "I am a Boston Red Sox fan!" Then she asked the class, "How many of you like the Red Sox?" All the children raised their hands, except one. Looking at the girl, the teacher asked, "Why don't you like the Red Sox, Susie?" Susie said, "I am a Yankees fan!"
The teacher raised her eyebrows and asked "Why are you a Yankees fan?" Susie thought for a moment and said, "Because my mommy and daddy are." The teacher began to berate the child, "That is no reason to be anything! Just because your mother and father call themselves Yankees fans doesn't mean you have to." The teacher then asked Susie, "If your mother and father were morons what would that make you?"
Susie didn't think for a second before answering, "A Red Sox fan!"
