Red Snake

My niece Jill dreamed that she was visiting her sister's home.When she stepped in the house she saw snakes everywhere.One snake in particular scared her. IT was bright red.
Her sister Nell was just standing and looking at the animals in shock. Her toddler was running around on the floor where the snakes were.Jill yelled to Nell get the baby. Nell then preceded to kill the snakes.She said she got very tired.There was one snake left the red one. She hit him as hard as she could and some of it's blood splattered on her arm.Her arm immediatedly began to swell.When she was awakened she was on her way to the hospital.
She didn't tell me what kind of weapon she used against the snakes.

I also woke from A DREAM: There was a red snake loose in the house. It was chasing after people to bite them. We ran in and out of the house to try to hide from the red snake. It seemed or appeared to be morphed from something. It would disappear for a period of time, and then it would suddenly reappear.

One time I hid from it in a small hall closet upstairs, hoping he would not look for me there. [The closet looked similar to the coat closet in our present house where I have gone inside before during a tornado warning, because it was an inside room with no windows. It was very small and cramped quarters – only one person could fit inside.]

Another time I ran out the back screen door of the house and closed it behind me in order to run from the snake and to warn some people in the back of the house that the snake was on the loose again, but they didn’t seem to listen to me.

I believe it was following this that I threw a jar of strawberry jam in the outside trash can because I felt it had something to do with the life of the red snake, but someone told me to pull it back out of the trash because someone needed it, so I did. I sensed it was a timing thing, but I’m not sure exactly about that.

The dream ended with a scene where I was outside the front of a house. [This house has been in previous dreams of mine. The house sat high up on a hill and it had a huge cement front porch with columns, but without railings. The porch was lined with bushes/shrubs. The property had a sidewalk and stairs going from the house to the street, which was also lined with bushes/shrubs on both sides of the walk/stairs. [This house seems to be a combination of two childhood homes I lived in from 1963 to 1972.] At the halfway point between the house and the street - at a landing between two sets of stairs - sat a “junk mailbox,” which was in addition to the normal mailbox that sat outside the front door of the house. In this dream, only the junk mailbox was mentioned.

There were two men outside the front of the house, on or beside the sidewalk, who appeared as though they were there to sell us something. There was a person from the house who was standing outside with these two “salesmen.” The salesmen had a table set up in the front of the house in the yard along the sidewalk in order to display what they were selling or to use it to do some paperwork, I assumed.

I just happened upon this scene. I was standing outside the front of the house near these men when I thought about checking the junk mailbox, but then all of a sudden I remembered that I don’t live there anymore. END

Submission to the Authorities
1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. 4For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. My Understanding: In the dream, I (or whomever I represent) am running and hiding from a red snake for fear that the snake will bite me. In the passage of scripture, there is discussion about submitting to governing authorities and not living in fear of them. In light of this passage of scripture, that leads me to believe that the red snake represents a governing authority established by God who will serve as God’s servant and an agent of wrath to bring punishment on any wrongdoers.

Immediately I thought of communism, because it is the one form of government in the world that would be associated with or described by the color red. And, I know that during the 1960’s and the 1970’s that there was a strong threat of communism against the USA which we were fighting against from the 1940’s to 1990’s during the Cold War.

This passage of scripture also talks about paying taxes and that we should give to everyone what we owe them. As I read that, I thought immediately about the movie we watched Friday night, “The Nativity Story.” When the governing authorities of that era decided they wanted to collect taxes, they went to where the people were and they set up a table in order to collect what they had determined was due them.

I decided to check the news to see if there were any recent news stories related to communism, and immediately I saw this article about Hillary Clinton’s visit in communist China. Part of the reason she was there, the article stated, is that she was “calling on authorities in Beijing to continue buying US Treasuries.” She spoke of the “interconnection” between our two countries and how we are going to “rise or fall together.” The article states that “she focused on the need for China to help finance the massive 787-billion-dollar US economic stimulus plan by continuing to buy US Treasuries.” She stated that “The US needs the investment in Treasury bonds to shore up its economy to continue to buy Chinese products.” And, at the conclusion of the article, we learn that China is the top holder of US Treasury bills, with 696.2 billion dollars worth of the securities… followed by Japan with 578.3 billion dollars…”

The scripture continues by telling us to not let any debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another. We are told to give to everyone what we owe him. Well, we owe billions to China. I have a strong sense that “the house” represents America in this dream and that I am representing the American people who have been running from the threat of communism for some time, and that the men outside our house trying to sell us something could be debt collectors, instead of salesmen, and the one who is doing the selling is our government who is selling America to China and eventually, I believe, to communist rule.

So, when I thought about checking the “Junk Mailbox” and then realized that I didn’t live there anymore, I believe that means that America has been sold and we no longer are the owners of our country. As far as the meaning of the “Junk Mailbox” is concerned, I believe it has to do with actual “junk” we take into our lives on a daily basis here in America, and I believe that under new management, that we will no longer have that access to all those freedoms we now have towards partaking in “junk”, which is why God would use this form of government as his instrument of wrath against those of us who do wrong, because we would no longer have as much freedom to do wrong as we do now.

The last part of the passage of scripture warns us that the hour has come for us to wake up from our slumber. One day we are going to get a rude awakening when our freedoms are taken away from us. Let us wake up now. Let us put off those deeds of darkness, i.e. let’s stop checking the “junk mailbox” and let’s move out of that house where we are constantly running and hiding and let’s say with confidence, “We don’t live there anymore.” Amen!

You should pray for your neice and her sister and her immediate family. It seems to be a warning dream.

I'm not sure if it something occult. But it seems as if it has to do with your neice's sister and her family since the red snakes were in their home. The colour red is a bold colour, it is attention getting. Someone told me that the colour red could indicate danger, blood, lust, love, anger, stop (like the traffic light that turns red when vehicles are to stop) I know of a guy that dreamt a snake bit him and a couple days after he got really sick and had to go to the hospital so the snake biting him was an indication that a sickness was going to happen to him (I know that your neice wasn't bitten by a snake but I thought I should mention it because your neice got sick when she killed the snake) Perhaps your neice may face a sickness although I am not sure, perhaps it has to do with her blood or blood vessels in some way or something having to do with her arm. But I am not sure. It seems that your neice might get rid of something potentially harmful to her sister and her sister's family and it might hurt her in some way physically or otherwise. Perhaps your neice should be careful perhaps not to act too quick to fix or get rid of a potential problem or situation having to do with her sister and her sister's family because it could hurt her badly in some way.

That everything will be alright and work out. That Nell is strong spiritually and will be able to withstand the trial. Maybe a little hard on her afterwards but, everything will be alright. Glory To God!
