CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Actually yours are a good size right now Menno. I just paid like 50 blessings I think to change the font size and another 50 for the style. Now it looks like Verdana 2 as I type but it shows up on the page like this. <-- *Grin*

S'O.k. I'm just having a whinge 'cause I've been computer deprived for a fortnight & now we're on hols I'm fighting the girls for any time on it.

The cat woke the whole house last night. Found a mouse & practically destroyed the kitchen in the process of trying to catch it. Completely idiotic cat. Can't actually catch anything. However he has a girlfriend who keeps calling at present. If I could nab her I'd take her for a visit to the vet as Issi can't give her what she wants... I hate people dumping their pets. It's so cruel & they do so much damage to our bushland.

Bushland is the flora & fauna native to this country. The ecology tends to be very delicate. Cat's & dogs can catch & kill many of the smaller native animals & make them extinct in an area very quickly. I adore cats but not those that have gone feral in our bush. My dh gets a little uptight about us having a cat but what's a home without a cat? & I keep him in at night so he's not outside hunting vunerable fauna - just inside destroying my property. That's nice. Sometimes I feel like a complete alien. I see the words, I know what they mean, but I still don't understand & can't make myself understood. Weird feeling.

I put some noodles on. I have some errands to run this afternoon before I go to the dr. Then I have to work for a couple of hours tonight. Yuck!
