Red Heifer

I'm not sure this belongs here, but I didn't know where to put it. Apparently, to have a proper sacrifice, the Jews need remains of the Red Heifer for their ceremony. About 30 years ago a Christian archeologist claimed that he was knew approximately where the remains were, and was going to restore them to the chief rabbi in Jerusalem. Just a little more digging was necessary. Since then I have heard nothing about the remains.
