• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Thank God for that Jessica. If there was cancer they would have found suspicious areas so that is really really good. I am so pleased for you. God bless you.

Yes, I'm so thankful and relieved about that part at least.

God Bless you too and thanks for your prayers.

Hi Jessica,

Just to let you know that I've had rectal bleeding for a constant 5 weeks and it turns out they think I have Ulcerative Colitis - which is ulcers, inflammation and bleeding in the large colon. It stops your bowel absorbing anything from food and mine is triggered by food containing lactose. There are many forms of colitis, they most severe being Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's disease. Both can be similar, but also different people experience completely different symptoms. There is no cure, but our God is an awesome and faithful God who heals. Keep praying and believe for total healing. God will carry you through, He is your shield, your protection and your strength x x x

I know for me sometimes I tend to have bleeding there too. Not to post TMI but when I would go to the bathroom I would leave pop can sized things in it. My doctor said it was from waiting to long to go tot he bathroom. But I told him I go when I first feel I have to. SO then he said it may just bleed because of something in my nerves that doesn't let me know I need to go. SO the rectum gets agitated and bleeds from this all.
