... from a monstrous illness just a few days ago. Really it's just one of those very violent feeling colds, about 10 times worst than a regular cold. The worst parts of it were constant headaches and coughing hard once or twice every minute. I guess in the midst of all that, God must of flashed something in my head cause when I was at my worst on Sunday afternoon, and I was in a state of hopeless ability to think, cough syrup suddenly landed on me where it counted. There wasn't any in the house so I asked my brother to call my mom who was out and coming back soon. So then my mom and the cough syrup showed up back home about a half hour after, and then I just took a gulp of it, and since then I've been gulping a few times a day.
Now I also realized that I made a big mistake before that half hour coughing period. That being when I went for a fifteen minute run. I was already too stuffed up from the cold to go to church in the morning so I skipped. I was hoping to go but nevermind that, I was more concerned about spreading my cold to fellow church attendants than missing the service all together. One of my most important roles in my Christian views from both my heart and my brain, despite both being messed up to some extent, is my own responsibility, making sure I don't cause trouble for nobody in both short and long terms. I'd be willing to bet against coughing constantly for many years nobody in that church wanted to have an intense cough problem like I did. And of course, they don't need a thing like that.
As for the run, I thought the cardio might help clear away some of the evil job going on in there. Man, was that ever boneheaded of me
. It was still a good old exercise
.
I started getting better yesterday. I've gotten better today. Right now, I'm feeling about 8 tenths back to normal. That's one heck of a fast recovery. God gets the A+ grade for this one. Most people didn't and still don't know about the devil vacationing in my throat. There were probably still a couple of them that had myself at least partially in their prayers. The spiritual A+ goes to them also.
