Hello all.Our group is finishing up in the studio and I would like some opinions on one of our songs.The song is called Heathen and it isn't mastered yet so I would like to know what you think needs adjusted.Guitars vocals all that kind of thing.If you can stream songs easly you can go here

only thing i think needs a bit of fixing would be bass, hard to pick up..

Really sounds great!!! the only thing i can say for sure is some of the lyrics are tough to follow and sound like they dont blend with the song... the line when it talks about seeing the evidence. everything else is good. It seems a bit long though..

Hey thanks for the comments.Like maybe that line seems a bit rushed or there are just to many words.It says Can't you see the evidence the only thing about changing that is it would change the meaning.Thats a tuff one.Thanks for the idea though have to work that one out.

DONT take out the mistakes or the inperfections... leave room for your next studio effort to be better... Release what feels good to you... your studio/writting skills will be better as more Lps are released

I like that idea.But listening to something I could have fixed would drive me crazy.I want each recording to be the best I can possibly do.My improvments I hope are in my song writing and musical skills.Trust me there are plenty of room to get better even if I changed them all

Wow this is a new one.AC/DC Never had that one before.We've been called nu metal rock hard rock metal never classic rock i am almost affraid to ask what song sounds like AC/DC.It's cool with me everyone hears something different You just totally floored me with that one lol............

haha I'm not saying you sound like AC/DC in a negative way by no means so dont take it in a bad way. AC/DC has written some great music. I am still a huge classic rock fan, I just try to limit which songs i listen to based on their messages because they can get less than desirable. When I say you sound classic rock it's a compliment. the vocals arent necisarilly classic rockesque but the guitar riffs and instruments in general sound like they could fit that genre. Alot of rock music today has aspects of classic rock innertwined (you like that word?). I guess I would probably hear classic rock in most "nu metal rock" music just because I'm so used to it I hear it fairly easily. Then again, I havnt listened to classic rock alot recently so I could be off...regardless, I like Heathen and wish you the best.

Thats cool man I'm glad you liked it.I thought maybe you were listening to the song All I Need cause I would agree it does have a classic rock vibe to it.Everyone hears what they like in something I think thats what draws someone to like something new. Man thats the coolest comment we've had I would never be upset at that.You completly knocked me off my rocker.
