Let me pause
To Think and ponder
Seek the truth
Smile and wander

Do sins define me
No they don't
Will a frown lead me
No, it won't

So let me

Allow my mind to
Freely see
The lies that stole
A part of me

Smile with courage
Pause, reflect
Let go unselfishly
To loved ones -

Reconnect

Discipline your mind
Make obey your heart
Seek away from sin
Find a brand new start

Open up your eyes
Wipe away your tears
Seek with love inside
Comfort all your fears

Cast away your doubt
Repent your wronging
Seek your life purpose
Find your belonging

Cleanse your mind anew
Brave the world you live
Comfort not from sin
Seek God He'll Forgive

Let me help and make you strong
Helping others is where I belong
It feels right and it gives me purpose
To observe the need
That's within each of us
To persevere through any
Fear

To have in sight with
All my might the strength to start....
To help ease the pain brought forth
From disastrous rain and disastrous wind
Find inner strength again and again
Fight through the tears of which we suffer
Hold tight to loved ones that make us tougher and share this gift of being kind for within this endeavor we'll surely find
Our caring purpose.

"I Awaken To Our World"


I awaken to the world
And I need its love
And there's much I need
To give to our Lord above

I need to say thanks
For each part of my life
The past, the present, and future
My dear loving wife

The lessons I earned
The tears I learned
Forgiveness to myself
And others

I've yearned to be better
day after day
This is more-so the reason
I awake just to pray

From the day you are born
Till the day you die
You may fumble or stumble
Yet you succeed when you try

Seek the Lord, Heavenly Father
Have faith and believe
You are His son or daughter
He truly will not deceive

Pray and give love
Wish well from your heart
Smile truth from your eyes
From your hands, let care impart

Be an instrument to our Lord
Let your talents praise his name
Forgive others of their trespasses
Allow yourself to do the same

Where to find the perfect start?
Look at life with all of your heart

Think and do, dream and see
Beauty in you, beauty in me

Clean your thoughts
Make them shine

Lend me yours and I'll
Lend you mine

But they are thoughts of my own
I might hear you say

Let's speak them up anyhow
Before their long forgotten away

But their personal and private too

I have them also
I am no different than you

I have so many flaws, my life's such a mess
Everyday's a pop quiz, but life's the test

There's beauty in a smile
That perseveres when the day is blue

There's beauty with restraint
Restraint in what we do or don't do

The choices we make
The actions we take

Integrity you cannot fake
For goodness sake

Where will I find the perfect start?
Look at life will all of your heart

My wife and I
We talk, we listen
To each others successes
To each others failures

We pause
We pray
My wife and I
We reflect and comfort each other

This world
We live in
Can be tough
We embrace each others needs
As our own
