recommended reading forum

I was just cruising the forums looking for something like a recommended reading forum. How about it? Smart guidelines could make it something very much like a reader's fellowship library. Post the title of the book in the title of the thread. A little information about the author's background and beliefs with a non-spoiler description of the book in the body of the post.
