CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

if you enjoy worship music i would suggest things like
Chris Tomlin
Tim Hughes
Hillsong or United
Lakewood
Sonicflood
Delirious
Passion
if you like rock/folk there are bands like
Chris Rice
Caedmon's Call
Jennifer Knapp
of if you go for harder stuff (metal, rap, punk) there are bands like:
Pillar
Skillet
Falling Up
Relient K
Jonah 33
Thousand Foot Krutch
38th Parallel
it really denpends on what you like
if you could maybe let us know what you currently listen to
and that might help me help you
and if all else fails i would suggest either going into a local
christian book store and talk with someone there, they might
be able to recommend something
or, you can call your local christian radio station and i'm sure one
of the dj's would be happy to recommend something for ya (they are there to help)

Wow .. well actually I am looking for all over from praise and worship to christian rock, so far I am loving the lists. Some mentioned I already have a deep love for, but others I have been on the fence if I should go check 'em out. Thank you guys!!

skillet - nu/industrial metal plus praise and worship. perfect christian band in my opinion. they have the heavy albums (collide) the praise and worship (ardent worship live) and the mixed heavy and worship (alien youth, invincible). good stuff...
if you want to go heavy heavy... try living sacrifice, extol, demon hunter, zao, bands like that... but that's only if you're looking for metal.

jeremy camp is awesome...Christian rock (not really HARD rock, but great none the less
todd agnew...same as jeremy camp...i like their sound and their lyrics are actually biblically based as opposed to some of the music that is labeled as christian today.
