Who rules this world?
Recognize your Father. Who is your father?

The ruler of this world is Satan.
1 John 5:19. We know that we belong to God even though the whole world is under the rule of the Evil One.
Who is this Evil One?
Who is this Satan or Devil?
Jesus Christ described him as the father of lies.
John 8:43, 44. Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you can not bear to listen to my message. You are the children of, the Devil, and you want to follow your father’s desires. From the very beginning he was a murderer. He has never been on the side of truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie he is only doing what is natural to him, because he is a liar and the father of all the lies.
John 10:10. The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy.
Recognize our father: Read Isaiah 9:6, 7, John14:6, John 6:48, John 10:7 to 9.

This is very powerful stuff.
So much really depends on Who we see as our father- not just in words but in deed.
No matter what we chime in as the real proof is in the pudding.

Who ever recognises Satan as their father? Most see themselves as children of the promise. That's how he leads so effectively is by dangling God's carrot over the cliff. The blind leading the blind. Does the Spirit agree in your heart of hearts that your a child of God?

You are right. Am i willing to consider the fact that satan is my father? I'd better be because it's true in a lot of my life.
If i can see the truth of that i will be less a child of satan and more under the gaze of Our Heavenly Father.
This is what John is saying in 1jn about 'if we say we are without sin we are liars...but if we confess our sin...'

What you said is correct, Nobody will like to say 'my father is Satan'. But Jesus said in John 8:43, If we dont hear or do what He says is not His son. Are we perfect? How many times we ignored Him? How many times we faild in doing what He said? In that case who are we according to Jesus?
Matthew 7:21 "Not everyonewho calls me 'Lord,Lord' will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only those who do what my Father in heaven wants them to do.

Death and separation
He is indeed love and that is called
Love for us in order to save us
By sending Jesus Christ!
