  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Chicken Burrito



2 cup chopped chicken

1{1-¼ ounce} package taco seasoning mix

1{16-ounce} can refried beans

6{8’’} flour tortillas

1{8-ounce} package shredded sharp cheddar cheese

3 plum tomatoes, diced

1 small onion, diced

Salsa



Step one. Preheat oven to 350 Place chicken and seasoning mix in to a large heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; seal bag. And shake coating the chicken.



Step two. Spread beans down the center of the tortillas. Top with chicken, cheese, tomatoes and onion. Then roll up and wrap each in aluminum foil.



Step three. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes and serve with salsa if you like. Yield: about 6 servings

To save time, you can either use a prepackaged cooked chicken strips or even pull meat of a deli-roasted chicken.



I call this Easy One Dish Hit



All you need is a baking dish and then reach for: 1 pound of beef I like deer

1 box of frozen mixed vegetables

1 pack of frozen seasoned potatoes

1 can of cream of chicken soup

1 bag of shredded cheddar



Easy enough right?



Now brown the 1 pound of beef or deer and add a little salt if you like then drain the meat and then put it in to the dish



Layer on the veggies, soup and the cheese. Top with taters then bake for about 45 minutes to a hour and your done eat up.





This is called Cheeseburger pie



You will need:



1 lb. Hamburger or deer meat

1 ½ c. chopped onion ½ t. salt

¼ t. pepper

1 c. shredded cheese 1 c. milk

½ c. bisquick

And three eggs



Brown the meat and onions together. Drain after. Stir in salt and pepper. Place int the bottom of a 9’’ greased pan. Sprinkle with cheese. Combine milk, bisquick and eggs: beat until smooth. Pour over meat and cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 min.

And your done.
