Basically, i got this idea to start this thread because i've bought alot of cd's recently.

and i know that many of you have too. And because we all have the same addiction, we might as well have a thread where we keep eachother accountable with our cd-buying habit.

here's what i've recently (in the last month) bought, or recieved:

That's a sensational idea, Bryce! In the past month (past year I'd have a very very long post!) I bought:

Listener Supported, Live in Chicago, Everyday (Dave Matthews Band)
Live from Mars (Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals)
An offocial bootleg from Pearl Jam's 2003 Australian tour
Live Wire (Third Day)
Awake (Live)

and received Echoes (Pink Floyd) - my brother got Rearviewmirror (Pearl Jam)

I bought the very best of Yes and wished I sort of not got that now...I get their music mixed up with Rush sometimes and maybe I should of got them instead

Did you notice that she has a new CD/DVD out? Its called..... uh I cant remember. Anyway its pretty recent. I just saw it for the first time a few weeks ago. Its got stuff from her new album. Check it out. Looks good.

yeah, i was thinking about getting it. it's called Afterglow Live. i haven't gotten afterglow yet, so i don't really know the songs on it, other than the radio singles. the cd/dvd is only 15.99 at Walmart, and it has alot of songs on it. but i just haven't gotten it yet. i probably will eventually, but i've just spent too much on music lately.

I don't really purchase many CD's anymore, due to internet reasons

But the last cd i got, for my birthday infact, was Velvet Revolver.

I already own every Hendrix, and Zeppelin, Nirvana and Pink Floyd I have found so far.

So had to find some new music. I havn't liked a new band since about 1991, so this was a big step for me

Terrific thread idea! Yeah, I'm a music-buying junkie; I usually buy at least one every other week it seems, but I've been extra-undisciplined lately...

I have recently gotten Genesis Platinum collection , it is mostly a remaster of their best songs many sound better ........ but it has given me even more enjoyment of The Lamb Lies Down ........ If you are tempted to buy some Genesis .... this 3cd collection is a great place to start
