Can some people reccomend a some devotional books that I can use with a quiet time?

Hey there. You might want to try "Streams in the Desert" or "My Utmost for His Highest" although I am using "Streams..." right now, and it's really good. "My Utmost..." I could never really get into. But if that fails, then just try different books and find some that work for you.

If you want deeper stuff, like My Utmost, try His Victorious Indwelling and Magnificent Prayer, both by Nick Harrison and published by Zondervan.

My Upmost for His Highest, I would say is a good choice.. Also there's "A Purpose Driven Life." But I would go to your local Christian bookstore and kinda read through them... There are little others like "Daily Bread," though I wouldn't just use that.... Don't forget to include the word of God....

Here is another on line library; Christina Classics. Here http://www.ccel.org/ you can browse Augustines Confessions and Thomas a Kempis Immitation of Christ and others with out having to buy a single book.
