Reasons why abortion is unchristian.

1- Again, it seems that you are trying to use legality to support morality. That being said, the government does not determine that a person is not human until he turns 18 years old. But this is what IS being said by many (and the government for that matter) when one decides at what point a "fetus" becomes a human. It's not like someone who has just turned 18 has just become a new species. He is as much as a human being as he was the day before. And one who has just been conceived is just as much a human as the 18 year old.

2- Huh, that's pretty wierd you called the 1 week fetus a he. If something is growing, it is alive. Thus, it has a life. Destroying it, therefore, is killing a life. A human life.

3- Again, you have attributed life to a fetus (choose between 2 lives). Coincidence? Or truth?

4- Sadly, scientists have been able to disconnect the procreative and unitive purposes of sex. Life can now be created without intercourse. But this does not make the "fetus" any less a life.

5- Then is Hitler a murderer? Or how about the KKK? They never believed that there victims were truly human. Are they not murderers? Are they not killers?

1- No, but the goverment gives more rights to people over 18 than to a people under 18. So the limite is there.
I am making ana analogy, a comparison, so don't take the words exactly, take it as an example.

2 & 3- Don't take conclusions from the words I am using, as english is not my first language.
Yes, it is a life. Every group of cells is alive. Also a fruit is alive.

What we are debating here if this life is human or not.

4- Sadly?
Go and say that to all the parents that are unable to have children on their own and need medical help.

5- Comparison is really bad.
It is not questions of beliefs or not. It is a question of what science says. And science (international) says that the first group of cells are not human, even they are alive

Personally I don't particularly like the idea of abortion BUT I would rather see someone get an abortion than give birth to a baby that they don't want. It just seems needlessly cruel to bring a life into this world when you don't want to care for it, I am not talking about 'bad' parents here because there are bad parents out there who mean well, I am talking people for whom the pregnancy was an accident that they never wanted an will never care about.

I also accept people choice re:abortion weather I like it or not
