Reaping what we sow

What we sow we will reap. In Spring there is much to do. This so in the garden. Tidying up,digging,weeding,sowing and planting. It is also true in our lives. There is much to do to prepare for the harvest to come!

Yes. When others complain (or I do - sometimes I have to remind myself!) about the messes they are having to go through, I try to remind them that God plows up the hardened ground; then He pulls weeds; and throws out rocks for His seed to have good soil - but one thing more is needed for good, healthy soil - a lot of manure. It makes people laugh, or at least smile, and the farmers among us know that the best soil, the softest, most ready soil for growing, is usually the one that's had the most manure worked into it. What others may see as waste, God can use in our lives to make us grow more beautiful for Him.
