Really weird dreams

As for your saying that some people interpret them the way I did , and other people interpret them spiritually, I tend to think that given two choices, the simplest explanation usually tends to be true. ( Ocums razor. ) IOW sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

As far as your (I assume to be sarcastic) question re: people posting in this forum being old. I keep reading that attitude in here, and I for the life of me don't understand why you all feel that way. I don't.

I think it's something probably just unique to the internet that when anyone can hold up their end of a conversation, isn't into sycophantic repetition or replies to teasing sarcasm with same, it is so easily assumed to be "offense" instead of what it really is, a reply that wouldn't be so out of the ordinary in normal verbal conversation. (aka a tet a tet.)

I don't know what to tell you other than; I can as they say "dish it out and take it". (what they actually say is "if you can't take it, you shouldn't dish it out" but you probably already know that) So, I followed your lead. I assumed you wouldn't be dishing it out if you couldn't take it. But, if I misread you, I apologize. And I'll try not to reply to your sarcasm with the same. (if I can remember. It's kind of just the way I am. )

Oh right, this is the weird dream thread. That's why I came to post. Now I remember. Moving on...

Last night I had a dream that I was living in a culture that treated women like chattel. It was not a contemporary dream but appeared to be some time in the distant past. I was wearing robes and a sort of veil drawing water from a well with some animals in the background and other females around me. The terrain was dusty, mostly rusty browns and not much foliage or greenery. And I remember a man talking to me like one would a servant. Not unkind. But, he gave a directive, he didn't ask. I felt I was part of his household, like he was my husband or father. And I didn't think anything of being talked to like that. It was "normal" in the dream. The spunky spirit you see in my personality above, wasn't at all what my personality was like in the dream. I was completely submissive, obedient, agreeable and respectful of male authority. Weird.

I don't have an interpretation of this dream. But, if reincarnation were a factor ( I know many christians get hot under the collar about this subject, but I'm speaking in hypotheticals here. So, don't) ...and we're all playing different roles each time we live, and I was subservient chattel girl in the middle east in a past life... It sure would explain why my personality is the way it is, in this one.

I also believe that some dreams are affected by things we eat, if we are ill or not, and if we are on medication. I think people we bond with can affect us, too.

I know of a gal that was married to a man that is seriously ill. He is ill spiritually and otherwise. His actions have him on house arrest. He is very unpredictable and abusive to others in many ways. He can not control himself and he doesn't control himself.

The woman I am speaking of divorced him because his unlawful nature was revealed to the police and her family was going through abuse......... I only mentioned all of that to get to this point that I now believe.

I believe that because she bonded with someone that is so ugly spirited it is possible that her present dreams are affected by that bond she once had with him. The Word says the two shall become one.

He was abusive in real life and now she gets tormenting dreams.

She could use much prayer and I will not give her name but God knows who she is please pray for her and her family.

There are even people who know her that have had nightmares or bad dreams showing this man tormenting that family.

Do you believe strange dreams can come from such bonds like I believe they can?
