  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It won't make much of a difference to me, except that hopefully the church I'm planning to go to will be opening. Although I live with my mum (a non-believer) who was/is shielding, so I might have to wait at least few weeks until we see what effect opening up has.

Like I used to be really down on the “fake holidays,” or the big communal days, earth day, men’s day, Black Friday, England vs Italy, :greatbritain::italy: and I still think they’re fake holidays, but that doesn’t matter so much anymore. It’s all an opportunity to encourage each other, init.

I always thought you were a good source of support @Neogaia777, be it for men or women. :tearsofjoy:

Thank you @Cormack... I try, but I'm not always perfect at it, etc... I do mess up sometimes... Usually my cue to know when it's time to take a break for a little while, etc... Or get some sleep, etc, lol...
