Reality about a son

I'll be taking my first text from Rom. 8:19 and I'm using the HOLMANS TRANSLATION
"For the creation eagerly waits with anticipation for God’s sons to be revealed. "
Ladies and gentlemen, for us to fully understand our text, I'd like us to check out Isa 9:6
Unto us a CHILD is born and to us a SON is given..."- Isa.9:6
A CHILD is always BORN but a SON is not born, a SON is GIVEN! Hallelujah!
Christ was BORN as a CHILD in a manger but He was GIVEN as a SON on the cross!
As miraculous and special as the BIRTH of Christ as a CHILD was, it didn't bring salvation to mankind UNTIL His DEATH on the cross as a SON! He didn't go to the cross as a CHILD, He didn't resurrect as a CHILD, He didn't ascend to heaven as a CHILD, and He is not seated at the RIGHT HAND of the father as a CHILD; He did all these as a SON and He's also COMING back for SONS that the Spirit is raising unto GLORY!
I want us to examine 2 interesting scriptures;
The 1st one is Jn.1:12 which says "as many that BELIEVE on His NAME, the same He gave POWER TO BECOME SONs of God".
The 2nd scripture is Rom.8:14 which says "..as many that are LED by the Spirit, they are THE SONS of God"
Now, there is a distinction between the "power to BECOME SONS of God" and being THE SONS of God"; those that BELIEVE only receives the "power"(inherent dynamic ability, enablement, capacity) to BECOME SONS but those that are LED are not trying to BECOME, they are THE SONS!
One comes before the other; POWER TO BECOME SONS is what we first experience before we are being LED AS SONS!
The bible states clearly in 1Jn.3:2 "NOW ARE WE THE SONS OF GOD!"
We need to understand that it's one thing to BELIEVE on His name, which only gives the new born the power(inherent potency) to BECOME SONS, and its another thing to be LED(total submission, absolute surrender, complete dependence) by His SPIRIT, which makes us THE SONS!
"Glorified IGNORANCE" is the reason some believers are still "trying" to BECOME SONS instead of being THE SONS, which is being LED by His Spirit.
So, Jn. 1:12 talks about BELIEVE on His name (where we're BORN as a CHILD), and Rom. 8:14 talks about being LED by the SPIRIT (where we are being GIVEN as a SON)!
Throughout the ministry of Jesus the Christ, He was LED by the Spirit and that is why God, the father had this testimony about Him; "this is my beloved SON in whom I'm well pleased".
It's so overwhelming that many in the Christendom are yet to truly understand the KINGDOM concept of SONSHIP, which the Father, who is the BEING QUA BEING, has incorporated into His kingdom agenda to bring about a MANifestation in/with us upon whom the end of times is come, even as time rolls back into eternity!
Men in their own agenda are producing clones of themselves, creating walls of DENOMINATIONS, factions, segregation, etc, but God produces "A NEW CREATION" in each individual He calls to Himself and knits them together by the Holy Spirit as SONS who are to be ONE in His SON.
So, while many in the Christendom are more concerned about spreading their denominations with some jingoistic MANipulations, God is more concerned about NEW CREATIONS, raising and gathering them as SONS as He ALONE prepares them for a glorious MANifestation!
Hey, the world and the entire creation is still waiting for the MANifestation of the SONS of God; they've seen enough “manifestation” of denominations!
Christ is not a pentecostal! Christ is not orthodox! Christ is not Anglican! Christ is not charismatic! Christ is not methodist! Christ is not protestant! Christ is not catholic! Christ is not baptist!
But there is one truth that is clear; Christ is the SON OF GOD and He died and was raised, in order to also raise many SONS unto glory!
He didn't die to raise pentecostals, charismatics, catholics, orthodox, methodists, adventists, etc, He simply died and resurrected to raise SONS,
He’s not coming back for denominations; he’s coming back for SONS!
Rom.8:14 says “as many that are led by the Spirit, are the sons of God”
The bible in the CONTEXT of this scripture didn't say "as many are the sons of God are led by the spirit" NO! it says " as many as are led by the spirit are the sons of God"; what qualifies us to be SONS OF GOD is simply because we are LED BY THE SPIRIT!
It is only SONS that are LED by the Spirit! The Holy Spirit birthed the Church from the beginning and the same Spirit alone can make a READY BRIDE out of the Church!
Behold! The world still waits earnestly for the MANifestation of the SONS, NOT the manifestation of confused CHILDren! Selah!
Talking about MANifestation,
There's no how we'd generically talk about MANifestation without going back to the beginning, to GENESIS, which is an adumbration of the whole bible, and the microcosm of the entire universe, as it firstly reveals vaguely, THE MANifold WISDOM OF GOD, which is God's extraordinary plan incorporated in His eternal PURPOSE, which carries His ORIGINAL INTENT and design for MANkind and the earth.
With this WISDOM(Christ), God garnished the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth upon the waters, even as He separated the waters above from the waters below; wisdom was a creative ingredient in the universal creation.
"Now, let's make MAN in our IMAGE, after our LIKEness...." - Gen.1:26.
This scripture is one of the most popular scriptures in the bible but most of us need to understand it.
I've always said that the IMAGE of God goes beyond physical appearance or structure, it has to do with the spirit God put in MAN(male and female).
God is the LIVING God and UNTIL He breathe into the MAN, he didn't become a LIVING being; this is the IMAGE!
The IMAGE is SPIRITUAL and it transcends gender/sex; otherwise, you'd think of God as an hermaphrodite with both male and female urinogenital organs! Hmmm
If the "image" has to do with the physical appearance or structure of man, then the gorilla, baboon, bear and other animals like the apes are also in the "image" of God? NO!
This misunderstanding and misrepresentation of MAN being created in the (physical) IMAGE of God contributed to the ERROR of the evolution theory!
The IMAGE is spiritual, not physical!
There is a distinction between "image" and "likeness" and we are going to address what God meant by the "image" first, then the "likeness":
"and after our LIKEness.." here, also goes beyond physical appearance or physique but the dimensional operation of God!
Let's study Gen.1:26-28 very well; immediately after God said "after our LIKEness", what
followed was "let them have DOMINION over the fish of the SEA(under the earth), over the
birds of the AIR(the heavens), and over all creeping animals on the EARTH(on earth)"; in essence, after our LIKEness simply means MAN should have DOMINION the same way God has DOMINION over all things!
MAN was created to have dominion/authority in the
LIKEness of God, to also RULE over or subdue all things LIKE God but the MAN fell from this
LIKEness(Dominion and Glory) which is the way of God, But thank God again for sending Christ, the LIKEness or radiance of His GLORY, who was given the NAME(authority/dominion/glory) above every other name so that "things" in the heavens, on earth and under the earth, that the MAN failed to subdue, and fell from RULING in the beginning will bow and confess(agree, concur, subdued, etc) that Christ is the Lord! So that our ways now becomes the ways of God through Christ, who is Lord over all "things"!
Now, we have only 2 KINDs of MAN; the generation of the
first Adam, and the new race birthed by the LAST ADAM(christ)!
Christ died as the "last Adam" to put an end to the generation of the corrupt MANkind on the cross, who fell from the IMAGE, and He resurrected as the "second Man" in order to birth a new race of MANkind to flow into the EXPRESS IMAGE of God through Him! (1cor.15:45&47).
We need to RECOGNIZE that there's a difference between being the image of God and being the EXPRESS IMAGE of God;
RECOGNITION is the first true step to RECOVERY! Chai! I hope we are catching this!
We actually travelled back to genesis so that we can decode what about to explain from Rom. 8:15
We are going to be looking at Rom. 8:15 and from there we check out Rom. 8:19 which is our main text tonight!
"...but you have received the Spirit of ADOPTION, by whom we cry, Abba, Father"- Rom. 8:15
We need to understand the concept of "ABBA FATHER";
"ABBA" is an aramaic word borrowed into the hebrew language and it means "father my father";
We need to understand that Christ from the beginning was not the son, He's THE WORD of God, then THE WORD according to God's kingdom agenda had to put on flesh and dwell in the midst of men, He first of all was pronounced as the BEGOTTEN SON of God, which God testified to at baptism, but He became the GLORIFIED SON of God after His death and resurrection.
So, Paul in Rom.8:19 was talking about when we'd also be MANIFESTED/REVEALED as GLORIFIED SONS of God!
So by the SPIRIT, He became the SON and that same Spirit of adoption is what qualifies us to also cry "ABBA father", a phrase Paul borrowed from the Jewish adoption tradition of father/sonship exercise, which is a tutoring process, UNTIL that son begins to talk, act, walk, and behave EXACTly/EXPRESSly like his biological father; this Jewish son is now "adopted"(accepted, confirmed) as a true son because he's become the EXACT or EXPRESS IMAGE of his father!
ADOPTION is the Greek word "yiothesia" which simply means SON PLACING.
